Upholding the innovation-driven development strategy, ONLEAD has built significant technical strengths in the industry through sustainable independent R&D and commercialization of research findings. Rated as a Jiangsu Certified Enterprise Technology Center, Jiangsu Industrial Design Center, and Jiangsu Engineering Technology Research Center in succession, and has been identified as Jiangsu Province specialized in special new small giant enterprises , ONLEAD has set up a lab certified by China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) and co-established an industry-university-institute collaboration mechanism with Nanjing Forestry University, South China Agricultural University, Central South University of Forestry Technology , and Nanjing University of the Arts among other institutions of higher education. Up to December 31, 2020, ONLEAD had 22 invention patents (and 45 other disclosed inventions), 108 utility model patents, 228 design patents, and 13 software copyrights. Many of ONLEAD products have won Germany's "Red Dot Award" as well as China's "Kapok Design Award", "Good Chinese Technology Award","Honorable Mention for Industrial Design Product in Jiangsu", "Honorable Mention for Industrial Design Product in Guangdong'Governor's Cup'" ，"Honorable Mention for Industrial Design Product in Nanjing", "Nanjing Creative Product Award", "Nanjing Outstanding Patent Award", etc. The cooperative science and technology projects of the Group also won the second prize of scientific and technological progress in the 11th Liangxi Forestry Science and Technology Award.

The Group is one of the earliest manufacturers specializing in the research and development of medical furniture in China.
